Irwin Business & Professional Association is planning a virtual car cruise on its Facebook page.

If you can’t allow people to crowd streets and peruse classic cars during coronavirus-related restrictions, there is nothing stopping a virtual car cruise.

That is exactly what the Irwin Business & Professional Association has planned at noon Saturday, via the Downtown Irwin Facebook page, said Michael Pochan, an IBPA member.

Those accustomed to bringing their cars into Irwin are instead asked to post a photo of the car in which they love to cruise. One of these classic cars will be selected for a virtual trophy, according to the IBPA.

In the spirit of virtual activities, there is no entry fee, no rainouts and no arguing over whose car looks the best.
