Irwin church to perform 'Living Last Supper'
“The Living Last Supper,” a dramatization of Jesus’ last meal before his crucifixion, will be performed by First United Methodist Drama Team from April 16 and 18.
The free performance will begin nightly at 7 p.m. at the church, 210 Oak St., Irwin.
Church members will perform as disciples, Jesus, and the servant girl, as well as a special event choir composed of both church and community singers.
During the performance, the congregation can participate in a special Seder meal which Christians call “The Last Supper,” by sharing communion with each other.
Public parking lots and on-street parking are available in downtown Irwin. Special arrangements can be made for large groups.
For more information, contact the church at 724-863-6858 or fumc.dianne.mm@comcast.net.
