The covid pandemic has forced Irwin Borough council to go virtual this week for its meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The meeting via Zoom will be livestreamed for the public via Facebook live on the borough’s Facebook page.

The agenda will be available to the public on Monday on the Irwin Facebook page, as well as the front door of the borough building, 424 Main St., and by emailing a request for the agenda to irwinboroughmanager@gmail.com, according to an announcement from the borough.

Council is expected to adopt the 2021 budget at the meeting.

Those who want to make a comment at the council meeting are asked to submit public comments to the Irwin Borough Building, 424 Main St., Irwin, Pa., 15642; by email to irwinboroughmanager@gmail.com; or by calling the borough office at 724-864-3100 and leaving a voicemail, no later than 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Comments also can be made through Facebook Live and by a telephone call during the meeting. The phone number will be provided to the public by calling 724-864-3100 and leaving a voicemail, if needed.
