Irwin residents who want to voice their opinions on the state of the borough and what they want to see happen in the future, will have that chance at a town hall meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in The Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St.

“We want to get input from the residents on what they would like to see. It will help steer us in the right direction,” council President Rick Burdelski said.

The town hall forum is scheduled to begin after council’s regular monthly meeting, which will start at 6 p.m. Borough council meets in a room at the public works garage at the bottom of First Street.

Irwin officials will discuss the town’s finances at 6 p.m. Oct. 29 at the council chambers when it reviews the budget for 2020 for the police department, the borough’s funding for the volunteer fire department, as well as the revenue anticipated for 2020, said Stacie Santimyer, assistant borough manager.
