Irwin woman accused by police of stabbing man 6 times
An Irwin woman is free on $15,000 unsecured bond after police said she stabbed a man six times, according to court papers.
Lori Jo Olsen, 53, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and simple assault.
Borough police said they were called to Olsen’s Spruce Street home Thursday at 9 p.m. and found her standing outside. A man who was stabbed twice in the arm and four times in the back was inside the kitchen, police said. A knife was found in the sink.
Both the man and Olsen told authorities that they had been drinking and arguing when she stabbed him, according to court papers. She was arraigned Friday morning.
Olsen did not have an attorney listed in online court records. She could not be reached. A Feb. 16 preliminary hearing is set. She does not have a criminal history in Pennsylvania, according to online court records.
