Twenty artists participating in a new exhibition at a Jeannette art gallery seek to bend the lines of reality.

A free opening reception for “And Beyond” will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at You Are Here. The exhibition will remain on display until Oct. 28.

The pieces were selected by curator Natalie Condrac from artists in the region who seek to answer the question of what lies beyond our perception of the material world, whether real or imagined. The artwork will be in a variety of media and genres.

Condrac will hold a miniature making workshop 1-4 p.m. Oct. 14 at the gallery. A Pittsburgh-based artist, Condrac has focused on mixed-media sculpture in the form of dioramas, shadow boxes or stand-alone pieces. Her art often is paired with poems.

To participate in the workshop or find out more, contact the gallery at 724-578-3332 or visit yah406clay.org. The cost is $30 per person and registration is required by Oct. 4. Registration can be done online.

The gallery is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
