The Jeannette Community Band will open its 37th season with a May 25 concert at the American Legion on South Fifth Street.
The band is comprised of more than 60 volunteer musicians under the direction of Ron Stemple.
Concerts are free and open to the public. They will take place on the following dates:
• May 25, 7 p.m. at the Jeannette American Legion, 109 S. Fifth St.
• June 21, 6 p.m. at the Latrobe Summer Concert Series, 512 Ligonier St., Latrobe
• June 28, 2 p.m. at the Italian Festival at Ascension Church, 615 Division St., Jeannette
• June 29, 7 p.m. at the Ligonier Summer Concert Series, 104 Route 711, Ligonier
• July 11, 7 p.m. at the Mercer County Courthouse, 125 S. Diamond St., Mercer
• July 19, 5 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Parish Festival, 2538 Route 119, Crabtree
• Sept. 7, 2 p.m. at the Italian Festival in Latrobe
• Sept. 13, 1 p.m. at the Glass City Festival in Jeannette
• Oct. 12, 7 p.m. at the Jeannette American Legion
• Nov. 9, 7 p.m. Veteran’s Day concert at the Jeannette American Legion
• Dec. 14, 7 p.m. Christmas concert at the Jeannette American Legion
