Job seeker Ryan Maher of Mt. Pleasant hands a resume to Jim Rugh, a recruiter from local manufacturing company Composidie, during a job fair at PA Career Link next to the Westmoreland County Community College near Youngwood.

Employers from the manufacturing, transportation and health care industries, as well as local job training agencies, are expected to participate in a job fair from noon to 3 p.m. May 18 at the PA CareerLink offices, 15 Pavilion Lane adjacent to the Westmoreland County Community College near Youngwood.

”These sorts of events bring job seekers face-to-face with employers that are actively looking for qualified candidates to fill their open positions,” said Janice Albright, site administrator for the CareerLink Westmoreland office.

Registration is suggested for the job fair by going to pacareerlink.pa.gov. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.

Job seekers can visit the Hempfield location before the event for assistance with developing resumes and job searching services. Call 724-755-2330 for more information.
