Kosko seeks seat on Hempfield board of supervisors
A longtime community volunteer wants to leverage that experience into a seat on the Hempfield board of supervisors.
In announcing his candidacy for township supervisor, Paul Kosko, 64, said he hopes to focus on road infrastructure, if elected, and encouraging affordable housing development to keep families in the area.
“With my extensive public service experience and education background, I am confident that I can start the job day one and lead the township forward,” he said in the announcement.
He is seeking the Republican nomination. He has run twice and lost in the primary election for county commissioner.
Kosko has been active in the Boy Scouts for years, leading various groups and serving as a board member of the local council. He was employed by the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County and has a master’s degree in business administration.
He and his wife have three adult sons.
