Latrobe Area Historical Society brings back monthly summer movie screenings

Members of the Latrobe Area Historical Society have announced the return of weekend movie screenings. The programs will be monthly, taking place on Friday and Saturday mornings through the summer.

The first showing, a program titled “Homefront: Latrobe in World War II,” will premiere on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the historical society. The documentary focuses on the schools, organizations, industries and individuals in Latrobe who supported those on the battle fronts.

Each showing will begin at 9:30 a.m. and refreshments will be served following the screening. Admission is free.
