Latrobe man dies from crash injuries

A Latrobe man died Saturday in a Pittsburgh hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a crash Wednesday in Unity Township, according to state police in Greensburg.

The victim, Joseph Jenniches, 61, died at 3 a.m. Saturday at an unidentified hospital, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

Jenniches was fatally injured when his vehicle hit the porch of the residence at 1184 Bailey Farm Road at 4:30 p.m. July 31, state police said.

No additional details were immediately available.
