The following Friday fish fries are scheduled through the lenten season:
• St. Pius X Parish, 222 Summit St., Mt. Pleasant, from 4 to 7 p.m.. Dine in or takeout, cash only. Menu: $15 dinner includes baked or fried fish served with macaroni and cheese, green beans, coleslaw, breadstick, dessert and drink; $11 baked or fried fish sandwich with coleslaw, dessert and drink; $5 containers of haluski will be available. An $8 children’s dinner includes baked or fried fish served with macaroni and cheese, green beans & breadstick; a $6 dinner includes macaroni and cheese, green beans, applesauce and breadstick. • St. Raymond of the Mountains Parish, 170 School House Lane, Donegal Township, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Menu: dinners, fried cod fish sandwich, baked cod or fried shrimp, $15, include two sides. • Faith Global Methodist Church, 305 Freeport St., Delmont, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Dine in or takeout. Menu: fried cod sandwich dinner and baked cod dinner, $15; chicken tender dinner, $10; all include one hot and one cold side and dessert. A la carte items: fries, haluski, baked potato, coleslaw, apple sauce and desserts, $2. Dine in includes free tea, lemonade, water or coffee.
• The J. Howard Snyder Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 781, 100 Billott Ave., North Huntingdon, from noon to 8 p.m. A fish fry dinner will be $14 and a fish fry sandwich with french fries is $13. A fish taco also will be available.
• St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2000 Leger Road, North Huntingdon, from 3 to 7 p.m. Dinners are $18 and include choice of fish or shrimp and two sides. A la carte choices include fried shimp, haluski, coleslaw, desserts and more.
• Partner Parishes St. John the Baptist and St. Joseph, 501 South Broadway, Scottdale, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Take-out or eat-in: 724-887-7013. • Manor Volunteer Fire Department, 40 Main St., from 4 to 7 p.m. Dine in or takeout. Menu: fried and baked fish, shrimp and chicken strip dinners, all $15, include roll, two sides and drink. Sides: macaroni and cheese, pierogi, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw and haluski.
• West Newton Moose lodge, 102 S. Water St., from 5 to 8 p.m. Dine in or takeout. Menu: fish dinners, fish sandwiches, shrimp and fries. Sides: haluski, fries and macaroni & cheese. Dinners include free desserts and coffee.
