Live! Casino Pittsburgh to host craft beer, wine and music festival

Officials with Live! Casino Pittsburgh are gearing up to host their first festival as a celebration of the start of summer.

Summerfest Live! is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. June 26 in a parking lot adjacent to the Hempfield facility at Westmoreland Mall.

The festival will feature craft beer, wine and seltzer vendors, food trucks, musical acts, games and more, according to a news release.

“This past year has been tough for everyone, and we at Live! Casino wanted to provide the community with a way to come out and have fun as we begin to return to a state of normalcy,” General Manager Sean Sullivan said in the release. “We’re so excited to kick off the summer season in a safe way.”

Those who attend the event will be given unlimited samples from vendors and will be able to enter an hourly Summer Fun Drawing. The drawing will take place inside the casino from 6 to 10 p.m. and participants will have the chance to win more than $30,000 in prizes, including a pair of jet skis, according to the event website.

In addition, several food trucks are scheduled to attend, including The Twisted Potato, Cruzin’ Cuisine BBQ, Le’s Oriental and Chocolate Freaking Bacon.

Tickets are required for the event. General admission tickets cost $39.95 and include access to the outdoor event as well as unlimited beer samples. VIP tickets,which cost $59.95, include early access to the event starting at 1 p.m. as well as access to the indoor private VIP area.
