Loyalhanna house damaged in shed fire

A house near the Loyalhanna Dam was damaged by fire early Sunday when a shed in the rear of house caught fire.

Vinyl siding in the rear of the house, nearest to the shed, was burnt , exposing the wooden studs and insulation at the Hickory Road house in Loyalhanna.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which was reported at about 1:10 a.m.

The property is owned by James W. and Lucille McWilliams, according to the Westmoreland County tax map.

Saltsburg firefighters could not be reached for comment.
