Man accused of trafficking teen girl for sex in Greensburg arrested, jailed
Authorities have apprehended a man accused of trafficking a teen girl for sex in Greensburg.
City police say Samuel Daquinn Oglesby, 30, exchanged explicit photos and videos with the girl through Snapchat before they had sex in November at a home in Greensburg, according to court documents.
The girl, who was under 18, told police Oglesby paid her $20 and provided her with marijuana before they engaged in sex, according to court papers.
Police said they began their investigation after receiving a ChildLine report indicating the girl was having sex with older men and was sending images of herself through Snapchat, sometimes receiving payment.
Investigators said they examined the girl’s phone and were able to trace some of the messages to Oglesby.
Oglesby is charged with trafficking in individuals, distributing explicit sexual material to minors, criminal use of a communication facility, corruption of minors, tampering with evidence and marijuana possession.
Court documents indicate Oglesby was living in Greensburg or McKeesport.
He was picked up by authorities in the Johnstown area on a bus headed toward Philadelphia, TribLive news partner WTAE reported.
Oglesby was arraigned Friday before District Judge Chris Flanigan in Greensburg and was placed in the Westmoreland County Jail after being denied bail.
He faces an Aug. 28 preliminary hearing.
