An Allegheny County man was killed early Tuesday morning in a crash along Route 993 near the Cleaveland/Price Inc. manufacturing plant in North Huntingdon, said township police and a Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety supervisor.

The victim, William J. Henning IV, 41, of Wall, died at AHN Forbes Hospital in Monroeville at 2:55 a.m. as a result of injuries sustained in the accident that was reported at 2 a.m., police and the Allegheny County Medical Examiner said.

Authorities said the crash happened in the Ardara area and Henning was traveling toward Trafford.

Larimer firefighters responded to the crash, a Public Safety supervisor said.
