A fire broke out at Ruthie’s Diner Tuesday night, emergency officials said.

Multiple companies were called around 8:10 p.m. for a report of fire coming through the roof at the longtime roadside diner.

Route 30 in Ligonier Township was closed in both directions Tuesday night.

As of 10:20 p.m., Mutual Aid Ambulance spokesman Shawn Penzera said there were not any reports of injuries or patients transported from the scene.

According to Ruthie’s website, the diner closed at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, just minutes before the fire was reported to 911.
