A woman charged in connection with a raid at a Murrysville massage parlor pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor prostitution charge on Wednesday.

Police said Weihong Wang, 63, was one of two women working last month during a raid of the Asian Garden Spa on Route 22.

Police said Wang offered to perform a sex act for money to an undercover agent as part of a sting operation at massage parlors in Murrysville and Lower Burrell.

Investigators said they launched a probe in response to online reviews from massage parlor clients, who boasted paying for and receiving sexual favors while visiting the businesses.

Police, along with agents from the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, raided the Murrysville business and took Wang into custody.

In court on Wednesday, Wang, with the help of a Chinese translator, pleaded guilty to the one count she faced and was sentenced to serve up to six months in jail. She was given credit for the five weeks she has served in jail, paroled and released into federal custody, where authorities are expected to pursue her deportation.
