Murrysville woman sentenced for role in 2019 shooting
A Murrysville woman was sentenced to time served Thursday in connection with a 2019 shooting.
Sandra Lee Cline, 52, pleaded guilty to a conspiracy count. She was one of five people arrested after the August 2019 shooting that injured a Monroeville man.
Two counts of aggravated assault were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. She was ordered to be released on the charges Thursday.
The shooting stemmed from an altercation and vehicle chase through Export, according to police. State troopers said the five suspects believed a friend of the man who was shot had stolen something from one of them. The suspects are accused of confronting two men outside an Export home and the two groups were involved in a short car chase and altercation when shots were fired, according to court papers.
One of the suspects — Cline’s daughter Kayla M. Grant, 29, of Jeannette — is awaiting a resolution in her case. Two of the others have been sentenced. Reese A. Bronick, 36, of Murrysville, was sentenced to six to 23 months in jail.
Tyler V. Palandro, 21, of Murrysville, is serving a state prison sentence of two and a half to five years followed by two years of probation. Police said he provided the gun to a juvenile who was charged in the case as an adult. It was unclear what happened with the juvenile’s case. His lawyer previously said he would seek to move the case to juvenile court.
