Two owners of a Monroeville nail salon donated 150 surgical masks last week for use by North Huntingdon’s fire, police and emergency medical services personnel, shop.
North Huntingdon residents Thu Tran and her sister, Landai Bui, who own T&T Nails of Broadway Boulevard, Monroeville, made the donation last week, said Gene Komondor, North Huntingdon emergency management coordinator.
Tran and Bui could not be reached for comment.
The nail salon has been closed since Gov. Wolf on March 19 ordered all non life-sustaining businesses to close to reduce the spread of the coronavirus that causes covid-19 pandemic.
”In spite of this hardship, they were generous enough to donate 150 surgical masks,” Komondor said.
