The New Alexandria Firemen’s Club will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Feb. 4 from 4 to 9 p.m.

Dinner is $10 per person. There will be desserts, a 50/50 raffle and silent auction baskets available for bidding. Proceeds will go to the Breakiron family, who lost their Mt. Pleasant home to a fire in January.

Dawn Jarvis, New Alexandria firewoman and cousin of Amber Breakiron, has helped plan the dinner in an effort to help her cousin’s family get back on their feet. According to Jarvis, Breakiron is living in a camper with her husband and their three teenage children.

“They’re the nicest people on this planet,” Jarvis said. “They will do anything for anybody and they deserve this support.”

Contact New Alexandria Fireman’s Club at 724-668-9911 for more information.
