Cracker Barrel restaurants are known for hearty meals, folksy decor and front porch rockers.
The New Stanton restaurant, at 154 W. Pennsylvania Ave., also is basking in a special accolade these days. Its parent company has declared the site the chain’s “Restaurant Store of the Year” for fiscal year 2019.
According to a statement from the Cracker Barrel corporation, the store’s selection is based on a variety of employee, guest and business metrics. The restaurant was chosen from among more than 600 nationwide.
“Congratulations to our New Stanton store that received this honor. They are incredibly deserving and we are proud of the team for bringing our mission of ‘Pleasing People’ to life,” the statement adds.
In recognition of their efforts, employees and family members recently enjoyed a special event to celebrate the award.
Employees from the Cracker Barrel home office in Lebanon, Tenn., and leaders from across the country traveled to New Stanton to celebrate with the team.
