A New Stanton woman already awaiting a Feb. 24 preliminary hearing for allegedly making 17 hang-up calls to 911 on multiple occasions in November is facing new charges for doing the same thing Dec. 14.

State police Trooper Jacob Shearer this week filed an additional complaint of making improper calls to 911 against Twandrea N. Brown, 33, of New Stanton.

“Since Nov. 7, Brown has called 911 18 times,” Shearer wrote.

Each call has drawn a state police response, according to Shearer. “On Dec. 14, Brown refused to answer the door and refused to answer her telephone,” he said in court documents.

Brown also is charged with disorderly conduct in connection with the November calls.

The complaints were served via mailed summons.

Brown could not be reached for comment and did not have an attorney listed in court documents.
