North Huntingdon cites owner of camper parked on former Rivertowne site
North Huntingdon has cited the owner of the camper that has been parked at the site of the former Rivertowne Pub & Grille along Route 30 for the past several months.
Michael Manan was cited by code enforcement this week for illegally parking a camper on the property, leaving vehicles there and spreading garbage outside the camper, said Joshua Andrykovitch, the township community development director who oversees code enforcement.
The owner of the camper, which is not attached to a vehicle, will have 20 days to clean the property and remove the camper and vehicles or the township will clean the site and remove them.
No one has responded when a Tribune-Review reporter made numerous attempts to reach anyone on the property. The camper, with a tarp covering the roof, is not connected to any sewer or water lines.
There is no indication that the camper owner has permission to be there from the property owner, 1318 Carson Street LLC. of Mt. Lebanon, Andrykovitch said. Representatives from 1318 Carson Street could not be reached for comment.
North Huntingdon had the vacant and deteriorating tavern demolished earlier this year after winning a three-year battle to have it razed.
