A North Huntingdon man was killed early Saturday morning when he was ejected from his car that hit a utility pole and overturned multiple times in North Huntingdon, the Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office said.

The victim, Anthony J. Marsiglio, 43, of Victoria Lane, was killed when his eastbound Cadillac DeVille went off the shoulder of Barnes Lake Road, crashing into the utility pole just before 2 a.m., the coroner said.

Marsiglio, who died of blunt force injuries, was dead at the scene. He was by himself, the coroner said.

It appears speed and alcohol were factors, according to the coroner’s release.

The victim was not wearing a seat belt, the coroner said.

The results of toxicology tests will not be available for several weeks, the coroner said.

North Huntingdon police investigated the crash. Additional details were not available from the police early Saturday morning.
