A Greensburg area property management firm paid just more than $1 million for a North Huntingdon apartment complex off Route 30, according to Westmoreland County real estate records.
MAC Realty Management, based in Mt. Lebanon, sold the 22-unity apartment complex at 409 Bethel Road, to Scalzitti Properties of Van Avenue, Hempfield, on Dec. 31, according to records filed with the county Recorder of Deeds.
Representatives with MAC Realty and Scalzitti Properties could not be reached for comment.
Records show Scalzitti Properties and Mark Scalzitti, of Hempfield, used the apartment building adjacent to Norwin Town Square along with property at 502 Depot St., Youngwood, as collateral to obtain a $1.36 million mortgage from Somerset Trust Co., which is a tenant of Norwin Town Square. Mark Scalzitti is listed as a member of Scalzitti Properties.
MAC Realty Management bought the property in 2013 for $965,000, according to records.
