An elderly North Huntingdon woman died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday, according to Police Chief Robert Rizzo.

Pauline Nagy, 94, was a backseat passenger in a car that collided with a van just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Route 30 and Malts Lane, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The van was pulling out of Malts Lane to head west on Route 30 when it collided with the eastbound car, Rizzo said. The 39-year-old man who was driving the van sustained minor injuries.

The driver and a front seat passenger, ages 80 and 86, respectively, in the car were both taken to AHN Forbes Hospital in Monroeville for treatment. Both were from East McKeesport.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police at 724-863-8800. No information has been released by the Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office.
