Seniors participate in the Norwin Senior High School Class of 2018 commencement ceremony.

Norwin made it official Friday for the class of 2020 — no graduation ceremonies as initially scheduled on May 22 because of the restrictions against gatherings of more than 25 people.

Even though Westmoreland County has moved from the yellow phase of the state’s reopening plan, Superintendent Jeff Taylor said an in-person commencement ceremony will have to wait until June. The school district is considering three dates at Knights Stadium at the high school campus: 7 p.m. June 26 and rain dates of 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. June 27.

The Norwin Senior Tribute video was produced, using the song, “To The Class of 2020,” which was written by Ryan Stockham of Ohio. The video is available at: Norwin Senior Tribute Video: https://youtu.be/8sAzd-OYCCQ.
