More than 500 custom and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles are expected to be displayed at the Norwin Elks Annual Father’s Day Charity Car Cruise planned for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 16 at the Norwin Elks off Sandy Hill Road, Manor.
The event has grown from less than 50 cars being shown 21 years ago to 524 cruisers who displayed their vehicles in 2018, said Don Rohac, a Norwin Elks official.
Food prepared by and served by the Norwin Elks will be available. A raffle, auction and bingo will be featured, as well.
Awards for the top three cars, top truck and motorcycle will be presented at 3:30 p.m.
All proceeds are donated to charity. A minimum donation of $5 per vehicle is requested.
The Norwin Elks expects to donate more than $10,000 to various charities this year. In 2018, $9,070 was donated to numerous local charitable organizations as a result of the car cruise. About half of the donations were made to various veterans groups, Rohac said.
