Man injured in South Huntingdon tractor accident

Police, fire and medical crews are on the scene of an accident involving a tractor in South Huntingdon.

Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers confirmed that the tractor was involved in an accident with another vehicle at Mount Pleasant Road and Williams Drive shortly before 6 p.m.

According to the dispatchers, at least one man was seriously injured and a medical helicopter was en route to the scene.

Dispatchers said they received conflicting reports that the tractor may have struck a house after the accident.

No further information was immediately available.
