Route 30 reopens in Derry Township after motorcycle wreck

Westbound lanes of Route 30 were shut down Friday evening in Derry Township for a wreck involving a motorcycle, according to a Westmoreland 911 dispatcher.

The wreck, which was near the Route 217 intersection, caused the lanes to close around 9:20 p.m. One lane reopened about 10 minutes later, and the other reopened around 10 p.m.

Further information regarding injuries was not immediately available Friday night.
