Both lanes of Route 30 eastbound at St. Vincent Drive were shut down Wednesday shortly before 5:30 p.m. after a motorcycle and car collided, a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher confirmed.

According to the dispatcher, the driver was ejected from the motorcycle. Marguerite Fire Chief Scot Graham said one person was transported to the hospital by Mutual Aid, but he did not know the extent of the injuries.

Route 30 was reopened around 6 p.m.
