Participants are needed for three focus groups next month to help the Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging develop a four-year plan.

Sessions will be held in Monessen, Latrobe and New Kensington. Participants will help the agency identify needs of older adults around the county while discussing existing services and potential needs for improvement.

The plan will run from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 2024. The agency operates Centers for Active Adults around the county and has other activities and programs, including a farmers market and an annual health and education expo.

Anyone interested in attending a session should RSVP with the names of participants to cnelson@co.westmoreland.pa.us or 724-830-4515. Sessions will be held 10 a.m. to noon:

• March 5: Monessen Center for Active Adults, 1925 Grand Boulevard. RSVP by March 3.

• March 18: Latrobe Center for Active Adults, Fifth Ward School Building, 15 Avenue C. RSVP by March 16.

• March 20: New Kensington Center for Active Adults, 1039 Third Ave. RSVP by March 16.
