A Penn Township convenience store customer is a half million dollars richer today after purchasing a winning Cash 5 lottery ticket on Tuesday.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket purchased at the PT Pit Stop on Route 130 matched all of the five balls drawn — 11-17-25-26-42 — to win $500,000, less withholding.

The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

More than 12,000 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes in the drawing.

Anyone holding a winning ticket should call 800-692-7481.

In Westmoreland, funding generated from Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sales brought more than $33 million to the county during the 2022-23 fiscal year, according to lottery officials. That funding went to programs administered by the state’s transportation, aging, revenue and human services departments including property tax and rent rebates, prescription drug assistance and help for seniors.
