Penn Township is asking for residents’ input as it prepares to update its comprehensive plan.

The township is conducting an online survey that asks some big questions: What core values do residents share? What are some of the biggest issues likely to challenge the township over the next decade?

Responses will help officials craft a vision statement, which will guide the rest of the plan. The township’s comprehensive plan was last updated in 2005.

The update will focus on issues like flooding, commercial development and the possibility of a new turnpike interchange on Route 130. Officials will solicit more public feedback throughout the process. They hope to have a final plan by August.

The survey is available at surveymonkey.com/r/PennVision.
