Penn-Trafford Drama Guild to host Nutcracker Party

Children of all ages are invited to celebrate the holiday season at the Penn-Trafford Drama Guild’s Nutcracker Party, featuring the cast of “The Nutcracker: The Play.”

The event will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdayin the main lobby of Penn-Trafford High School, and will include games, snacks, dancing and a Santa visit. Visitors will have the chance to chat with “The Nutcracker” cast.

Admission is $10 per child, with proceeds benefiting the Penn-Trafford Drama Guild.

“The Nutcracker: The Play,” a theatrical version of the “Nutcracker” ballet, opens Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m., and continues Dec.3 at 3 p.m. and then again at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for all performances are $7 and are available at the door. Doors open an hour before each performance.
