Penn-Trafford’s Jacob Otto (4) leaps for a catch as Pine-Richland’s Camden Wells (3) tries to block during WPIAL playoff football Friday, Nov. 19, 2021 at Gateway Senior High School.

Penn-Trafford High School students, family and community members sent their WPIAL championship football team off in style Friday morning as they cross the state seeking further glory.

The Warriors will play in their first PIAA Class 5A championship game at 7 p.m. against Imhotep Charter at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey.

The school hosted an “Off to Hershey the Warrior Way” event, with students and community members lining the path from the school to the Warrior Center, where the players and coaches will board the buses for their trip. The Penn-Trafford band led the team and coaches to the buses.

The game will be broadcast on PCN and at pcntv.com/football. KDKA Radio will start with pregame coverage at 6 p.m. on 100.1 FM and 1020 AM and fans can listen to the game through the Audacy app or at audacy.com/kdkaradio.

Westmoreland Sports Network will broadcast the game at westmorelandsports.com and anyone with a NFHS subscription can watch the game at nfhsnetwork.com/events/piaa/gam71002f4e57.
