Penn-Trafford to honor military, first responders at football game

Military personnel and first responders are to be honored at Penn-Trafford’s Warrior Stadium in Harrison City at the high school football game against McKeesport on Friday.

Penn-Trafford will recognize active military personnel and veterans, as well as first responders and their families at the high school football game Friday.

A light dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. and a pregame ceremony to honor the guests will begin at 7 p.m.

The Penn-Trafford band will play an armed forces salute to each of the branches of the nation’s military services.

The kickoff of the game against McKeesport is set for 7:30 p.m. Honored guests may watch the game against from inside the Warrior Center or sit in the stadium as a guest of the school district. The Warrior Center is located to the right of the football field parking lot.
