Pitt-Greensburg site of upcoming blood drive

The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and Vitalant are partnering to host a blood drive on Jan. 31 at the Hempfield campus.

It is open to the public. The drive will be held 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Smith Hall Lounge, 150 Finoli Drive.

Vitalant is offering donors a chance to win one of 24 $500 gift cards when blood, platelets or plasma are donated through Feb. 10. Donors must have an online Vitalant donor account and be opted into donor recognition program to be eligible.

Appointments are recommended for the Jan. 31 drive, but walk-ins will be accepted. To make an appointment, visit vitalant.org or call 412-209-7000 or 1-877-25VITAL.
