Caelum Weber reaches a hand toward Shannon Phy and Misty, a juvenile alligator, during a the Pittsburgh Zoo’s Zoomobile program, "Radical Reptiles," at Mother of Sorrows School in Murrysville on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.

Is it cold blooded? Does it have scales?

If so, it might have been in the gymnasium at Mother of Sorrows School on Friday as students learned all about “Radical Reptiles” at a program presented by the Pittsburgh Zoo’s Zoomobile.

Zoo conservation education specialist Katie Campbell, along with Connor Bamrick and Shannon Phy, brought a few members of this particular branch of the herpetological family tree to the Murrysville school as part of National Catholic Schools Week.
