When police arrested a North Versailles man in Manor on Thursday after an apparent drug deal, they found the suspect had drugs hidden in his mouth and clenched between his buttocks, according to court papers.

Damian Igles, 22, is charged with drug offenses, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of contraband.

Jeannette police and agents from the state attorney general’s office used a confidential informant to purchase heroin from Igles, who had been operating out of a Buster Avenue apartment for a couple weeks, according to court papers.

After watching the apparent deal, authorities arrested Igles. Police found 4 grams of crack cocaine, nine packs of Suboxone and 75 stamp bags of heroin “clenched between his buttocks,” according to court papers.

When he was searched again at a holding cell in the Jeannette police station, authorities seized another 30 stamp bags of heroin from his mouth. Igles is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison on $75,000 bail.

Also arrested was Jacob Ingelido, 21, of Manor. Ingelido told police he was letting Igles stay at the apartment he rents, according to court papers.

He is being held in the county jail on $10,000 bail on drug and conspiracy charges.

Neither suspect had an attorney listed in online court records. Preliminary hearings are set for Dec. 31.
