A Monongahela woman is accused of child endangerment after police said she overdosed in a Rostraver motel with her 1-year-old son in the room.

Emily Ann Stout, 24, was found unresponsive at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the Relax Inn on Finley Road, according to court papers.

Township police said Stout’s son was present while paramedics helped her at the motel before taking her to a hospital. Investigators said there was an odor of burnt marijuana in the room along with open alcoholic beverages and a small bag of marijuana.

Stout later told police she consumed alcohol, marijuana and “a line of an unknown substance,” according to court papers. She is charged with child endangerment and reckless endangerment.

No court action has been scheduled. A warrant was issued for her arrest. She could not be reached and an attorney was not listed in online court records.
