A Greensburg man who city police said asked a female resident for a glass of water Tuesday is accused of raping her while armed with a knife, according to court papers.
Justin Owens Hall, 26, is being held without bail in the Westmoreland County Prison on charges of rape, burglary and related offenses.
The accuser told police she asked Hall to wait outside of her home around noon while she retrieved the drink, but he went inside, groped her and held the knife to her throat, according to court papers.
Security video at the accuser’s apartment showed Hall walk inside and moments later she can be heard yelling “no, don’t do it” and “stop it” for several minutes, according to court papers.
Police arrested Hall at his home. He claimed the sex was consensual, according to court papers. A knife was recovered from his bedroom.
Hall did not have an attorney listed in online court records. A preliminary hearing is set for June 25.
