A Jeannette man wanted for cutting off his court-ordered electronic monitoring ankle bracelet was found Wednesday with drugs and cash at his house, according to police.

Jermayne Michael Ramsey, 24, is charged with flight to avoid apprehension and drug offenses.

Jeannette police and agents from the state attorney general’s office arrested Ramsey on the warrant as he left his Good Street home at 11 a.m., according to court papers. During a search, police found 24.5 grams of crack cocaine, $640 and other items used to package drugs for sale.

Also arrested was Ramsey’s girlfriend, Shelby Lee Sisco, 22. She is charged with hindering apprehension and drug offenses.

Police said Sisco knew Ramsey was wanted and she returned the ankle bracelet to the Westmoreland County courthouse. Ramsey was sentenced to electronic monitoring and two years of intermediate punishment on a 2017 drug case, according to court records.

He is being held without bail in the Westmoreland County Prison. Sisco’s bail was set at $15,000. Neither had an attorney listed in online court records. Preliminary hearings are set for Nov. 21.
