Police: Suspect stole over $8,000 in items from Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon

State police are asking for help in identifying a suspect they say took more than $8,000 worth of items from Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon early Tuesday morning.

According to a police report, someone cut a chain to enter a fenced lot of the Crossroads Plaza store, taking a Cub Cadet riding lawn mower worth $2,099, a Toro TimeCutter lawnmower worth $3,999 and a utility trailer worth $2,099. In all, the items add up to $8,197.

Officials responded to the scene around 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Anyone with information regarding to incident is asked to call state police in Greensburg at 724-832-3288.
