Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a Greensburg man who is accused of breaking in and assaulting a woman and her son in their Unity home.
Police said Seth Michael Vanderella, 33, forced his way into the home in the middle of the night on July 27 and attacked the woman. Her son was shoved to the ground when he tried to intervene, police said.
According to police, Vanderella had fled from the residence by the time troopers arrived and found the woman with a black eye and a fractured leg.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Vanderella, who is charged with burglary, aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal trespass and harassment.
Police said he could be in the Lancaster area. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 215 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
