Mt. Pleasant Area High School student reported missing found safe, police say

A 17-year-old Westmoreland County boy who had not been seen by family members since Sunday returned home safely Tuesday, according to Mt. Pleasant police.

Devan Smith, a student at Mt. Pleasant Area High School, had been last seen Sunday in Cook Township and family members reported him missing to Mt. Pleasant and state police in Greensburg.

Mt. Pleasant police posted on its Facebook page Monday evening that Smith had been located and returned home safely. No further details were released.
