A Ligonier Borough man who had been reported missing was found safe in Texas, according to Westmoreland County authorities.
Police on Friday enlisted the public’s help to find Michael Smidlein, 41, after he didn’t return home from work. He left his phone and wallet at home after going to work on Wednesday morning, police said at the time.
His location was announced Monday by the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office.
