A Unity Township man was jailed Thursday on state police allegations that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl and bought her drugs.

Michael Alan Rager, 33, is charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, child endangerment, corruption of minors and indecent assault.

The girl told police she was 14 and 15 years old between October 2018 and March when she and Rager would have sex nearly every day, according to court papers. Rager allegedly gave her heroin, police said.

Rager admitted to sexually assaulting the girl and buying her drugs. He posted $10,000 bail.

His attorney declined to comment. A Dec. 16 preliminary hearing is set.
