A Mt. Oliver woman was arrested Saturday after state police said she slapped a 6-year-old boy repeatedly in a moving vehicle and attacked the driver.

Troopers found an open can of malt beverage Four Loko in the backseat where Christina Dawn Hall, 38, was sitting, according to court papers.

Hall was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $25,000 bail.

Troopers were called to Route 30 westbound near the Cedar Street exit at 3:30 p.m. and found a Kia Sedona stopped in the right lane. The female driver told investigators Hall slapped the child over a pair of sunglasses and grabbed her hair and punched her in the head, causing her to lose control of the vehicle, according to court papers.

Another adult pulled Hall off the driver, who was able to pull over, police said. Hall is charged with child endangerment, simple assault, reckless endangerment and summary violations. She did not have an attorney listed in online court records.

An April 2 preliminary hearing is set.
